Policies at the Polynesian Resort

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel with-in 7 days of arrival you forfiet your advance deposit. If you cancel prior to the 7 days you will recieve a refund less a $15.00 service charge.

Student Policy

If you are age 17-24 and not traveling with parental guardian you are considered a student reservation. We require that each person age 17-24 pay a $50.00 cash security deposit check-in. There is also an upcharge per night. You MUST be 18 to reserve a room. We do allow 17 year olds to stay with an 18 year old and with a permission letter from a parent faxed to the hotel prior to arrival. The letter must contain a photocopy of the parent's id, a contact number, reservation number, child's name, accept responsibility, and give them permission to be in Myrtle Beach. We REQUIRE everyone to have a state issued photo id in order to check-in. NO ONE 16 AND UNDER IS ALLOWED TO STAY WITHOUT A PARENT/GUARDIAN! If the credit card used is not in your name we require the cardholder to fax us written permission. The permission letter must contain the amount, date, signature, copy of id, copy of front and back of credit card, and the reservation number.

Check-In Policy

At check-in we ask that you have a photo id and the credit card used to reserve the room. You must be 18 to check-in. Check-in time is after 4:00 pm. If the credit card used belongs to a person who is not checking in with you, we will need them to fax us permission to use the credit card or all charges will be reversed and you will be charged the full amount at check-in. The credit card permission letter should have a copy of the cardholders id, the front and back of the credit card (we recommend that you also write the 16 digit account number and expiration date under the photocopy), the reservation number, amount authorized to be charged, and the cardholder's signature.

All bookings are requests until you get confirmation from us. All rates are based on 2 adults and 2 children under 16. All rates are based on Sunday thru Thursday and do not include weekends, special events, or holidays. WE REQUIRE 1 NIGHT PLUS TAX FOR ADVANCE DEPOSIT TO HOLD THE RESERVATION.
All specials are based on availability and are subject to change at anytime. Specials do not apply to student reservations unless specified. You must mention the special at the time of booking. Only 1 discount or special per reservation. Specials not valid on holidays, special events, or weekends unless stated otherwise.

Minimum Night Stay Requirements

The minimum night stay requirements for 2008 are:

Easter 3/16-3/29 3 nights Oceanfront and 2 nights for all other rooms.
Mother's Day 5/9-5/10 2 nights all rooms.
Bike Rallies 5/11-5/17 and 5/22-5/25 is 3 nights on all rooms.
June and July Oceanfront rooms are 4 nights and all other rooms 3 nights.
Labor Day 8/29-9/1 oceanfront 3 nights and all other rooms 2 nights.

Any reservations not meeting these requirements will not be confirmed. Minimum night requirements are subject to change at any time.

Age Requirements

You must be 18 to rent a room. Please call for holiday and special event policies.
